I am an Academic Skills Advisor at the University of Birmingham and a part-time PhD student researching the cognitive and ethical implications of Generative AI in higher education, with a focus on authorship, autonomy, and extended cognition. My work explores how AI reshapes writing, thinking, and human-AI collaboration in academic settings.
I support students across disciplines in developing core academic skills, and co-create resources promoting the ethical use of AI - emphasising enhancement over replacement to uphold academic integrity.
